In this session, we're going examine Avalonia ( http://avaloniaui.net/ ), a cross-platform .NET XAML based UI framework for developing apps for Windows, macOS and Linux, Android and iOS.

I'll introduce you to Avalonia, explain its architecture, its strengths and weaknesses, and I'll jump into Visual Studio and write some code so that you can see it in action.

We'll then consider how it fits into the broader .NET UI ecosystem and how you can approach selecting a UI framework for your next app. Lastly, I'll demonstrate how you can combine both Xamarin.Forms and Avalonia to provide the best of both worlds.
